ASI Takes Notice of DTG

More Evidence that DTG Printing is Gaining Popularity

The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) recently released a publication after the Imprinted Sportswear Show, saying that "ISS Long Beach... proved host to the maturation of several key apparel trends that have grown in the industry over the past few years."

Among those apparel trends that ASI deems having "matured" is Direct to Garment printing. "The wide variety of direct-to-garment printers now available means decorators have more choices than ever before with this burgeoning technology." ASI also takes note that the arrival of EPSON on to the scene means big changes in the market. "But a sea change is forming, particularly with the arrival of the Epson SureColor series of printers."

It is an exciting time in printing. The maturation of DTG means that more and more print shops will be integrating the technology into their product offerings, and more customers will begin seeing the benefits of on demand T-Shirt printing.
